Chef Mario Folco and his daughter, Deana, of the popular local eatery, Folco’s Ristorante, provided a food demonstration and wine tasting that were a huge hit with guests. The event was inspired by Sierra’s “68 Main Street Condominiums Passport to Value” program. Passport holders who stop by Sierra’s Presentation Centre and have their cards stamped can return to participating businesses and receive a discount on their purchases. Those who buy a suite at 68 Main receive a more substantial discount with a gift card for $500. 

This program enhances the “community” feeling of living in Markham Village and promotes shopping locally. Folco’s Ristorante is one of the many amenities within walking distance of 68 Main. This family-owned Tuscan-style eatery has been an integral part of Main Street Markham for nine years, offering pastas and sauces made fresh for every order.
