This week, we ventured out to Grand Park and Burnhamthorpe in Mississauga to check out the progress of one of our favourite projects, Pinnacle Grand Park by Pinnacle International. We were first introduced to Pinnacle Grand Park two years ago when Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion presented it at the Grand Opening.

The rise of Pinnacle Grand Park

As you can see from the photos, Pinnacle Grand Park has really come along. The project is starting to make a real visual impact on the Mississauga skyline. Eventually rising to 28 storeys, Pinnacle Grand Park will feature 321 units, offering a perfect mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans. Designed by Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects, the building offers some strong contemporary architecture with great amenities, such as a green roof, a terrace, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

Phase 2 at Pinnacle Grand Park

Pinnacle Grand Park is expected to be completed later this year, however Pinnacle International’s work at Grand Park and Burnhamthorpe will be far from over. The next phase, Pinnacle Grand Park Phase 2, which will be located at the site of the current sales office, will soon start to take shape as well. Pinnacle Grand Park 2 will rise to 48 storeys and feature 469 units.

Pinnacle International in Mississauga

Pinnacle is among a handful of builders who are responsible for the intensification of Mississauga. Their work at Pinnacle Grand Park, which is expected to ramp up in 2015, is just the start. They also have some exciting long term plans at Pinnacle Uptown at the corner of Hurontario Rd. and Eglinton Rd. Pinnacle Uptown is a massive development, which consists of a mix of townhomes, high-rise condominiums, retail, and commercial components.
