January low rise sales revealed

Trimart Research Corperation is reporting that New Home sales in the Greater Toronto Area continue to move forward in a typically slow January. With many new home sites scheduled to open in February, projections hint that next month will be a successful one for new home sales.
The expectations are for multiple family homes, such as urban towns and mid to high rise condominium projects to dominate the 2011 new home sales industry.
As a result, single family homes are expected to be pushed out to lower priced markets outside of the Greater Toronto Area.
The following is a look at some successful January projects.
First on the Trimart Report is Grand Central by Brookfield Homes. Brookfield Homes witnessed 8 sales last month, with a wide range of detached home options. Homes range from 1,806-3,850 sq. ft., on lots ranging from 22'-50', priced to start at 292,990.
Second on the Trimart list is Touchstone Homes in Richmond Hill. Touchstone Homes is offering semi-detached homes starting at $369,900, sized from 1,030 - 2,541 sq. st. They are also offering detached homes ranging from 2,270 - 2,557 sq. ft, priced from $460,900. Touchstone witnessed 8 sales in the past month.
Third on the Report is Courtice Village by Senator Homes. Courtice Village witnessed 6 sales in the past month. Located on Prestonvale Rd, just south of Bloor St. Courtice Village features Townhomes are sized from 1,160 -1,546 sq. ft., and priced from $208,990. Detached homes on 30' lots, sized from 1,491 -2,126 sq. ft., priced from $249,990.

Fourth on the list is Milton Trials by Arista Homes. Located in Milton just off of Derry Road and Bronte Road, Milton Trails features detached homes on 38' - 43' lots, ranging from 1,851 - 3,111 sq. ft., priced at $435,990 to start. It also features Urban Town homes, ranging from 948-1,805, and priced at $189,990. Arista Homes witnessed success at Milton Trails, with 6 sales this month.

Fifth on the list is Mulberry Meadows by Sundail Homes. Located at the southwest corner of Rossland Road and Audley Road in Ajax, Mulbury Meadows features 948 – 1805 sq. ft urban towns, starting at $189,990. It also features Promenade Towns from 1,406-2,167 sq. ft., priced to start at $236,990. It also features detached homes on 30' lots, ranging from $276,990.
