New Canvas Condominium amenity renderings unveiled!

By now, we’re sure you’ve heard a lot about Marlin Spring’s Danforth Village development, Canvas Condominium. We’ve been getting pretty excited about this new project and now we’re happy to share a few new renderings of the amenity spaces at Canvas Condominium!

The beautifully designed lobby will have natural stone finishes and hints of deep red accents, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming space. Upon entry, the tone is set with the sleek marble-style concierge desk, high ceilings, and creative floor-lighting. There will be a sense of prestige as you enter your home, and it will surely impress your friends and family.

Speaking of friends and family, there are many options for entertaining at Canvas Condominium. Invite your friends over for a game of bocce ball on the rooftop terrace, then grill up some lunch or dinner and dine alfresco while taking in the stunning city views. There is a covered area for dining in case it’s drizzling, and there’s an outdoor fireplace, perfect for capping off the night. The rooftop terrace is also great spot to unwind by yourself in one of the lounge chairs with a good book.

If you’re looking to host an indoor shindig, then you will appreciate having access to this chic party room (feature image). There are a number of lounge areas, an electric fireplace, and skyline views. Whether you’re hosting a large get-together with 20 of your closest friends or a more intimate gathering, the party room is an amazing amenity to have.

Marlin Spring also unveiled a rendering of what the fitness studio will look like. The spacious fitness area will feature cardio and weight resistance equipment, free weights, a yoga area, and flatscreen televisions. With a fitness studio this well equipped, you have no excuse to not get some exercise during the week! When winter hits, people tend to skip workout days because they don’t want to go out in the snow, but at Canvas Condominium, all you have to do is go to the amenity floor.

With a Walk Score of 95 out of 100, Canvas Condominium’s location is very convenient. There are shops, grocery stores, banks, and cafes all within a few steps of the building.

When we chatted with Marlin Spring COO, Zev Mandelbaum, about Canvas Condominium last month, he said, “Danforth Village is the next up-and-coming spot. When I look at the east end, I see it as a place where residential development is going to surge in a big way.”

“The eclectic atmosphere, convenient retail, the vibrancy, the streetlife – it’s unlike any other area of the city,” he added. “Transit is so convenient with two subway stops (Main and Woodbine), and a GO station connecting you to the GTA. There’s a Sobeys, a Shoppers, boutique shops, and the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to, from Red Rocket Coffee to Starbucks.”

Danforth Village also has some great neighbours, including The Beach, Upper Beaches, Greektown, and Leslieville. Each of these areas offers a unique collection of amenities, so it’s fantastic to be within such a close proximity to them.

Canvas Condominium features one- and two-bedroom units (some with dens), ranging up to 961 square feet. Prices start in the mid $200,000s, so we won’t be surprised if a lot of first-time buyers have expressed interest.
