Now open is Nexus North, the newest condominium development in Downtown Markham.

Nexus North Condos Markham Remington Group

Downtown Markham is a master planned community that will focus on urban living.

This 243 acre development will present a mix of condominiums, urban town manors, and sophisticated retail space that will all reflect the great city centre’s of Europe.

Eventually 9,500 people will call this development home, with 16,000 more commercial and retail jobs expected as part of the project. Downtown Markham is located between Highway 407 and the Rouge River, and it extends from Warden Avenue on the West to the GO Transit rail line and the Unionville Go Station on the east.

The Remington Group has brought in a large team of experts to bring Nexus North to life. The building was designed by Quadrangle Architects Limited, one of the top architectural firms in the Greater Toronto Area. They are the designers behind Viva Condominiums, as well as the City/Chum Building. With Nexus North, they have produced a two-tier tower that tops out at 10 storeys. The designs of the towers will be respectful of the area, with a focus on architectural diversity and visual interest.

The suites - designed by Bryon Patton and Associates - will feature 9' - 10' ceilings, expansive balconies and terraces, a chef's kitchen, as well as engineered hardwood floors in living areas.

Another important aspect to Nexus North is its focus on sustainable building. Fluent Engineering Inc was brought in to provide custom services to ensure that the building will be as energy efficient as possible. From Remington Groups exclusive Environmental Quality Control (EQC) program, Remington has always been a builder that focuses on responsible development. This building will not only be  good for the people inside, but also good to the planet.

The Remington Group is a developer with over 15 years of experience in new home development. They are a company that focuses on modern innovation, traditional craftsmanship, and strong customer service. They are also known for their long-standing excellent rating with Tarion's new home warranty program in Ontario.

Prices at Nexus North are expected to start in the low $200,000s
