As we continue our look back at the best of 2017, we need to focus in on one builder/ developer in particular – Pemberton Group.
Why do we need to highlight Pemberton? According to independent research conducted by Altus Group, at the end of third quarter of 2017 Pemberton had achieved more high-rise sales than any other builder in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
As of the end of October, there were approximately 32,000 high-rise sales in the GTA, and Pemberton had nearly a 10% share of the total market, which equated to almost double that of the next highest sales! Even though it’s not the end of the year quite yet, Pemberton has such a commanding lead that it’s already safe to call it.
While we’re on the topic, let’s take a look at a few other Pemberton milestones that made 2017 such a successful year.
Time and Space sells-out in record time
Located at the crossroads of Front and Sherbourne, Time and Space is a new downtown landmark that will be comprised of four high-rise towers and a collection of townhomes. Launched in the spring of this year and sold-out 1,500 suites by fall, this impressive Pemberton community will transform the neighbourhood.
The BILD Awards
Pemberton and Geranium received the Low-Rise Project of the Year BILD Award for their Friday Harbour community in Innisfil.
This resort-style community features a brand new marina (which literally expanded Lake Simcoe), boutique condo residences and waterfront townhomes right on the marina with their own boat slips. There’s also a new golf course under construction.
Indigo Condominiums groundbreaking
After little more than one year from going on sale, Pemberton dignitaries, Indigo team members, City of Vaughan Ward 4 Councillor Sandra Yeung Racco, purchasers and their friends and family gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of Indigo Condominiums in Maple.
Indigo is steps from the Maple GO Station and surrounded by the best that Vaughan has to offer. The stunning design sets a new precedent for condo living in Maple.
Now selling is Pemberton’s second condo in Maple, GO.2 Condominiums, where now is the last chance at pre-construction prices.
As far as construction goes, Pemberton remains very busy!
They have four other communities actively under construction, including sold-out: Ten93 Queen Westin Toronto, SkyCity 2 in Richmond Hill, and CityLights on Broadway in Toronto, plus Downtown Erin Mills Tower 2 in Mississauga.
Social at Church + Dundas
