The Final Phase of Port Royal Place

We at the Toronto Star’s NewInHomes.com are very pleased to hear that preparations for Pemberton Group’s Vivid Condominiums are moving along smoothly.

Vivid Etobicoke Pemberton Group

This is very exciting news because Vivid is the final phase of the master-planned community Port Royal Place, a well-established, sophisticated neighbourhood at the colourful corner of Bloor and Islington.

Vivid is still in preconstruction, but judging by the renderings, it will probably stand about 20 storeys high and feature a modern design consisting of precast, brick, and glass.  The exterior is symmetrical and modest, but will surely accentuate the sophistication and elegance that the area already exudes.

Speaking of the neighbourhood, Vivid will occupy the heart of a truly family-friendly community.  There are a number of schools, libraries, and recreational centres for the kids, sports clubs, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and lively venues for mom and dad, and community festivals for the whole family!  If there is ever anything outside the Bloor and Islington area that may become desirable, then the subway station is only steps away, and major transportation arteries are easily accessible.

The area is fantastic, the exterior is humble, but in our opinion, the best part about Vivid is its interior.  First of all, the featured amenities are exquisite, such as a state-of-the-art fitness centre, an indoor lap pool, a theatre room for watching your favourite films, and a sophisticated lounge space with a bar and fireplace, which is perfect for hosting large private events.  The elegance continues into the units.

Vivid will feature a wide array of floor plans, ranging between one-bedroom and two-bedroom+den layouts, sized from 580-1,120 square feet.  Some of the interior features will include your choice of granite or CaesarStone countertops, contemporary-designed cabinets, a balcony or terrace (depending on the unit), and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.  Based off the renderings, it seems that creating a spacious living area was a very important aspect to the designers, and they achieved this by using an open concept layout strategy and facilitating the penetration of an abundance of natural light.  Overall, the units are bright, sleek, and ultra-modern, without losing any comfort points.

It comes to no surprise that Pemberton Group is managing to follow through with their Vivid preparations.  For the past couple years, they have had a number of projects under their belt all at once.  Currently they have about 15 projects on the go, that we know of, ten of them under construction, and five in preconstruction.  Some of these developments include SkyCity Condos, The Uptown Residences, U Condos, Neon Condos, and Bravo.

Judging by the selling rate of some of Pemberton’s other projects, you will want to keep a close eye on this one.  Units are starting in the mid $200,000s.  You can register today to stay on top of this development!  You can also stay tuned to the Toronto Star’s NewInHomes.com, for we
