If you’ve had your eye on the historic Islington Village neighbourhood, you will be very excited to discover that Tridel has released the Sky Life Collection, a selection of suites starting on the 32nd floor of their new condo development, Islington Terrace.
The Sky Life Collection features a wide array of one- and two-bedroom suites, many with dens and media alcoves. The suites range from 482 to 971 square feet and boast incredible designer features and finishes of modern styling, in addition to soaring 9’ ceilings and expansive windows. The large windows are perfect for taking in the panoramic views. To the east, you have an amazing view of the downtown Toronto skyline. To the south, Lake Ontario. Western views offer beautiful sunsets every night, and to the north lies verdant golf courses.

Let’s take a look at the largest suite offered in the Sky Life Collection at Islington Terrace. The 2G+D is a 971 square foot, two-bedroom+den suite that starts on the 40th floor (Islington Terrace will rise 45 storeys). This suite starts at $567,000.

The size of this suite isn’t the reason we decided to feature it. We just really like the layout, how it’s kind of divided into two halves. Even though it’s a condo suite, the layout resembles a low-rise home, having a healthy balance of private and communal areas. This floor plan is actually perfect whether there are two renters living there or a couple with a child.
The kitchen, living, and dining areas combine to make a huge open concept living space, and the two bedrooms are on either side of this common area. Both bedrooms even have their own ensuites, walk-in closets, and private balconies. You don’t see condo suites with 2.5 bathrooms very often. There’s even a den by the front door, which we like because it is separated from the main living space, and since it’s by the front door, it can also be used as a seating area where you can store shoes, coats, and other outdoor gear.
Life in Islington Village
Located at Bloor and Islington, Tridel’s new three-tower condo community is in one of the most convenient neighbourhoods in Toronto. For one, the area’s Transit Score is 96 since the Bloor subway line is just steps away, making downtown Toronto a cinch to get to. Secondly, Islington Terrace’s location scores an 83 Walk Score thanks to all of the restaurants, cafes, bars, and grocery stores along Bloor Street West.
This is your chance to live the condo lifestyle on the edge of downtown Toronto, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to all the amenities of the city when you’re craving an exciting time. One benefit of being on the edge of downtown is that there is a wider options of nearby schools, so this is the kind of condo community where you can definitely start a family.
