Trimart: Brampton on Top, Barrie on the Rise

According to Trimart Research Corporation, the Top 10 cities in the Total Market Area account for 67% of the total year-to-date new low-rise sales. Brampton is still in the number one position with 1,810 sales this year. Milton is in second place with 710 sales and Toronto is in third with 351. Barrie has not seen many sales this year, but there are many new releases planned for the city, so Trimart is expecting its sales figures to rise over the coming months.
Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:
Via Mattamy Homes
Once again, Mattamy Homes takes the top spot on Trimart’s weekly report with 64 sales at their Waterdown community, Cranberry Hill (which is now temporarily sold out). The community features 30’ and 36’ detached homes ranging from 1,284 to 2,339 square feet. Prices start from just $423,990.
Via Pratt Homes
Coming in second with 40 sales last month is Manhattan - Upper West Side, a Barrie development by Pratt Homes. Manhattan features urban townhomes ranging from 606 to 1,404 square feet with prices starting as low as $165,990.
Via Fieldgate Homes
The third spot is taken by Fieldgate Homes’ Markham community, Upper Unionville, which saw 25 sales last month. Upper Unionville offers a wide array of homes, including 25’ townhomes, 25’ and 28’ semi-detached homes, and 38’ and 42’ detached homes. Prices start at $560,990 and the homes range from 1,673 to 3,274 square feet.
Via Minto
Coming in fourth with 20 sales is Orchard Park, a Minto community in Stouffville. Orchard Park features an extensive selection of townhomes, including urban towns and terrace towns. The homes range from 1,256 to 1,879 square feet and prices can be found as low as $339,990.
Via Fernbrook Homes
Placing fifth is another Barrie community, Centretown by Fernbrook Homes, which had 15 sales last month. Centretown offers townhomes and 40’ detached homes ranging from 1,073 to 2,620 square feet. Prices start from $249,990.
Via Brookfield Homes
Finally, coming in sixth with 13 sales is Willow Glen by Brookfield Homes in Tottenham. Willow Glen features townhomes and 30’, 36’, and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,290 to 2,920 square feet. Prices are starting as low as $292,990.
