Trimart Releases Low Rise Sales Statistics

January low rise sales continued its slower pace when compared to previous years -- realizing 877 in sales -- reports Trimart Reserch Corporation.

The biggest successes occurred in the East and Northern regions of the Greater Toronto Area, witnessing 33.3% and 10.0% respectively. 

The top 10 city sales accounted for 65% of total sales, with Brampton’s 167 sales leading the way. Milton took second with 114 sales and Markham finished third with 70 sales. 

The following is a look to some of the top performing sites in the Greater Toronto Area.

First on the list is the Mattamy Homes development called Mount Pleasant Village.  It features urban town homes - ranging from 1,568-1,976 sq. ft.- priced from $288,990.  They also feature 3 storey towns - ranging from 1,359-1,968 sq. ft.- priced from $274,990. For those looking for detached homes, Mount Pleasant Village features homes on 30'-26' lots, ranging from 1,337-2,540 sq. ft.  Prices start at $330,990. Mount Pleasant Village was a huge success for Mattamy over the past month with 62 sales.

Second on the Trimart List is Vaughn Valley Estates by Arista Homes. Aritsa had a strong opening weekend in Vaughan, with 16 sales. Vaughan Valley Estates include detached homes on 41' and 60' lots, starting from $599,990. The homes range from 2,159 - 5,030 sq. ft.

Third on the spotlight is Heritage at Cathedral Town by Monarch Homes. Monarch Homes is offering a wide selection of homes at Heritage at Cathedral Town, continuing their success with 16 sales this past weekend.  Cathedral Town offers 1,715-2040 sq. ft. townhomes from $427,990, and detached homes, with 38', 45' and 50' lots-ranging from 1,715 to 3,799 sq. ft., priced from $559,990.

Forth on the list is Starlane Homes "Woodland Trails" development in Oakville. Woodland Trails offers strong options for buyers with both townhome and semi-detached homes. The townhomes range from 1,609 - 1,905 sq. ft., and are priced to start at $385,900. The semi-detached models range from 1,554-1,818 sq. ft., and are priced to start at $430,900. Woodland Trials had strong success in the past month, with 15 sales.

Fifth on the Hotlist is Inspiration, a development by Tribute Homes. Inspiration features 36' and 45' lots, with detached homes ranging form 2,275 sq. ft. - 3,383 sq. ft.  Prices at Inspiration start from $554,990. Tribute Homes continued their success at Inspiration, with 11 sales this past month.
