Last weekend, we had the pleasure of attending Fieldgate Homes’ Upper Valleylands opening in Brampton!
Leading up to the opening weekend, Upper Valleylands was the talk of the town. Real estate agents were blogging and posting on social media about it (even though Fieldgate typically doesn’t cooperate with brokers at openings), and a couple mommy-bloggers highlighted the community as a great spot to raise a family!
So, we weren’t surprised when we rolled up to the sales centre and had a difficult time finding a parking spot – and we were more than an hour early! We ended up parking around the block, luckily it was a nice sunny day.
The doors opened to the public at 11 am, but Fieldgate let in the first few early registrants at 10 am. With hundreds of people lined up, there was a little bit of chaos around the front door, but Fieldgate and the security team did a pretty good job managing the eager buyers.
Fieldgate allowed the first group of 15 buyers into the sales centre and gave them all numbers, then they were served by a sales representative in order starting with number one. This made the lot and elevation selection process as fair as possible.
The number one ticket holder ended up being the first purchaser at Upper Valleylands! Soon after, the tables and chairs started filling up with people going through and signing their agreements. At one point, we even saw a police officer in uniform checking out the price list and grabbing a brochure!
Based on the amount of people in line and the amount of people buying, we think the weekend went well for Fieldgate and there are many happy families celebrating their purchase of a new Brampton home!

Fieldgate notified us that the Upper Valleylands sales centre is open until Thursday this week and there’s still a selection of freehold townhomes, semis, and 30’, 38’, and 41’ detached homes available!
