You Need to Arrive Before 11 am for the Parkside Grand Opening!

By Lucas on Jun 05, 2015

For all those in search of a new home in Alliston, Poetry Living is launching your opportunity to purchase a new detached home in the final phase of an established community with a small-town feel, starting in the low $400,000s.

Poetry Living’s Parkside community is located at Hwy 89 and Boyne Street, and they are opening their doors to the presentation centre for the first time to registrants and public on June 6, 2015 at 11 am. The presentation centre/model home is located at 213 Gray Avenue, just north of Hwy 89 off of Boyne Street.

You’re going to want to get to the opening early because it’s the perfect opportunity to view the wide selection of 39’, 45’, and 50’ detached homes and the model serves as an exceptional representation of the quality you can expect from Poetry Living. The detached homes are available in bungalow and two-storey designs, with floor plans that can accommodate medium and large families. In the initial release of Parkside, there are only 50 homes available, so you should probably arrive earlier than 11 am to ensure you’re near the front of the line.

Life at Parkside in Alliston

Why is Parkside on everyone’s radar? This Alliston neighbourhood has so much to offer with a variety of parks, schools, shops, and other amenities surrounding the Parkside community. The historical streetscapes, natural surroundings, and tree-lined streets promote a neighbourly atmosphere that provides a sense of peacefulness and tranquility to the residents.

Nestled next to the Boyne River, Parkside’s neighbourhood is peppered with parks, including Queen Park, Buchanan Park, and GA Wright Athletic Field. A few minutes to the west, there is the Earl Rowe Provincial Park, which is protected green space and will never be replaced by commercial or residential development. Then to the east, there is the Nottawasaga Inn Resort Golf Club, the only 45-hole golf course in Ontario!

Aside from a really good local golf course, what’s the most important thing to homebuyers? The proximity to schools (okay, so schools may be more important to most families)! There is a wide selection of nearby schools within walking distance, some of the closest being St. Paul’s Catholic School, Alliston Union School, Creative Kids Preschool, and Banting Memorial High School. As you probably noticed, the school options range from preschool to secondary school, so Parkside is the perfect community to set firm roots for your growing family.

For groceries, all you have to do is zip down Hwy 89 for a couple minutes and you have easy access to Zehrs Markets, M&M Meat Shops, and Sobeys. Head the other way across Hwy 89 and you’ll quickly come upon a Walmart location that provides groceries, apparel and electronics.

Even though the Parkside homes feature stunning kitchens, you can’t cook every single meal. Good thing Hwy 89 is lined with restaurants! Whether you’re craving Italian, Chinese, Greek, or just some good ol’ fashioned pub fare, you’ll never be far from your next night out with the family, or perhaps you can leave the kids at home for a date night!

Once again, the opening is located at 213 Gray Avenue; the model home is serving as the presentation centre. The opening will be from 11 am to 6 pm, but you should arrive early to secure a spot near the front of the line since there are only 50 homes initially available.
