The family’s foray into real estate started in the early 1960s when Allan Brown opened Allan Brown Real Estate. His passion for real estate and his customers rubbed off on his sons Corey and Kevin, who sought to establish their own place in the Greater Toronto Area real estate market. The sons looked to develop a company that would bring a fresh and unique perspective to every new development, while focusing on customer satisfaction, which has always been a focus of the Brown family. Based on that vision, the brothers created ICON Homes in the early 1990s.
“Being a family business, we understand that this is probably the most expensive purchase that our customers will ever make, and we take their trust in us very seriously,” says Corey. “I give out my cell phone number to my clients, so they know that they can call me if they ever have a problem and if they have a concern they can get an answer directly from the owner.”
Today ICON Homes specializes in creating new home communities within the Greater Toronto Area that raise the bar for outstanding craftsmanship, quality and exceptional customer care.
“Our motto at ICON is we go beyond for our homeowners,” Corey says. “I just got off the phone with a homeowner. She’s been living in one of our houses for two years and she called and said that she was changing a light bulb in her house and broke one of the glasses from the lights. She was asking if I knew where she could get a replacement. I told her that my electrician would be there on Monday and would replace it free of charge.”
ICON has seen great success with its newest development in Scarborough, Inspiration Lane. Icon homes is proud to announce the Grand Opening of Inspiration Lane, a private enclave of Single and Semi detached homes off of Scarborough Golf Club Road.
