5 new condos first-time buyers should know about

By Lucas on Aug 14, 2017

Earlier this year, we listed a few new condos in and around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) that first-time buyers could actually afford. Well, it’s been a few months and we have another handful of new condos first-time buyers should know about.

With the recent news that the average new condo unit in the GTA costs $627,000, we imagine there are many first-time buyers out there feeling like there is no possible way of getting into the market. As of the end of June 2017, the average price per square foot in the new condo market was $742. A year ago, the average price per square foot was $587, and everyone thought that was high.

Don’t let these numbers scare you. They’re just averages. There are still new condos in the GTA and surrounding area where young buyers can make their dream of home ownership come true! Here are five:

1) DuEast Condominiums in Toronto by Daniels

Prices at DuEast Condominiums will start in the high $200,000s. Daniels is also offering a First Home BOOST, which turns your 5% down payment into 15%! DuEast is opening this fall, so you better join the Inner Circle today for exclusive updates and invites.
