For those who love their bikes, it’s about a 10 minute ride to access what the locals call the “Overhead Bridges” Trail, part of the Simcoe Forest Trail with connections to the Tiny Rail Trail and the Tay Shore Trail; all making up a pretty stretch of the Trans Canada Trail.

Penetanguishene offers all types of recreation opportunities. McGuire Park provide 9 acres of public park a mere 1.5 kms from Champlain Shores. Facilities include Tennis and Pickleball courts, Bocce courts, horseshoe pits, 2 lit ball diamonds, washrooms & playground.

Turn your attention to the water and enjoy some of the best boating in the world exploring the 30,000 Island National Park with it’s sheltered bays, sparkling blue water and miles of shoreline to explore.

Freehold ownership

If you choose a Waterfront, Waterview or Townhome lot, you will own the land and building outright. This is not a land lease community. Common Elements Condo - the roads, parkland areas and docks will not be assumed by the Town – these parcels will belong to a common elements condo corporation, of which you will be a shareholder. You will pay a monthly fee of approximately +/- $ 200 to look after maintenance of these common areas – mostly for snowplowing of the roads and grass cutting/gardening in the park areas.
